Sankara Farm Spring Farmshare is a 10 week CSA (community supported agriculture) subscription. Beginning.in May and ending in July, you will receive 7-10 items from the farm each week.
Sankara Farm offers Farmshares to cultivate a relationship between our farm and you as our customer. Rather than simply purchasing food, our customers receive a share of the farm’s harvest each week. Our CSA runs from May to October. Members are responsible for showing up at our farm or arranging for delivery each week to receive up your share of freshly harvested produce. You will generally receive the equivalent to 2 grocery bags of produce, with 3 bags during peak season.
Sankara Farm provides safe and essential access to fresh local produce. We implemented COVID-19 safe food handling practices including:
Exercising frequent handwashing and observing social distancing
Face masks and gloves when harvesting, post-harvest handling and packing produce
Regularly disinfecting high contact areas
Operating with a small work crew
With your security at heart, we keep a watchful eye on emerging information reported by the USDA, CDC and World Health Organization (WHO). As the conditions evolve, so will we. Our goal is to provide fresh, organic produce to you and your family that you can trust.
